  1. Air blow recommended. Do not use flood coolant with hard mills.
  2. Performance of hard mills is dictated by heat evacuating in the chips. Adjust speeds/feeds and width of cut to pull enough heat in chip. Chips should maintain color (blue, purple, etc.)
  3. Always use caution and best judgement when applying updated speeds/feeds.
  4. Each individual application is different than the next. Rigidity of workpiece, tool holders, etc. may contribute to optimal feed rates.
